HAPPY FRIDAY FRIENDS!!
I feel like celebrating--not for any reason in particular but for a lot of little reasons tied up-- all together-- with a beautiful great big bow-- and so for my faves for the week I chose confetti!
It's been a confusing week, in the midst of chaos sometimes you find unexpected peace. I guess it's probably like standing in the eye of a hurricane. The world can be spinning and out of control...then suddenly and oh so unexpectedly peace happens. I can't put my finger on exactly what it is but here is a try, it's because of sisters, hope, faith, love, creating, sunshine, fresh air, and family. This lovely list is where my peace has come from this week and I am so very grateful!
I am also grateful for Sarah Jane and Pioneer woman positively commiserating about the ever elusive search for balance in ones life. It makes you feel better to know that yes, everyone fights to fit it all in, in a day.
Make sure to check out the store on Monday, Bailey and I completed 25 pieces for the shop and next week we are on schedule for about 15 more, Hooray--more confetti!
Freebies: a video and an invitation...
Watch this and take note of the fun confetti!
This quote came from Tammy's website and it was so lovely I had to share--
"There is a vitality, a life force, a quickening that is translated
through you into action, and there is only one of you in all time.
This expression is unique, and if you block it,
it will never exist through any other medium; and be lost.
The world will not have it.
It is not your business to determine how good it is,
nor how it compares with other expression.
It is your business to keep it yours clearly and directly,
to keep the channel open.
You have to keep open and aware directly to the urges that motivate you.
Keep the channel open. No artist is pleased.
There is no satisfaction whatever at any time.
There is only a queer, divine dissatisfaction,
a blessed unrest that keeps us marching
and makes us more alive than the others"
nor how it compares with other expression.
